02 · Grades
New / one-trip: made once for a single loaded voyage, near-factory condition, ideal for export packing and long-term use.
Cargo-worthy (CW): used but structurally sound and certified fit to carry cargo by sea again.
Wind and water tight (WWT): sound for storage and local use, not certified for ocean shipping.
As-is: sold without guarantees, best for modification projects. We always say clearly which grade a unit is in.
03 · What we check
The same points a careful buyer or surveyor would examine.
Gasket condition, door operation, locking bars and cam keepers.
Plywood condition, delamination, holes and previous repairs.
Dents, corrosion, patches and light-leak test for tightness.
Cracks, distortion and structural damage that affect stacking.
CSC plate, owner and unit identification legible and consistent.
Power, cooling performance and temperature recorder checks.
04 · Specialist units
Perishables, pharmaceuticals and chilled food need a working reefer with verified cooling and a clean interior. Heavy machinery and project cargo that cannot enter through a standard door needs open-top or flat-rack equipment.
Tell us the cargo, weight and route and we suggest the right equipment, then source matching units.
05 · Selling containers
If you hold surplus units or retiring stock, send us the count, sizes, age and location. We assess condition and market demand and advise on the sensible route, whether that is resale, long-term lease or conversion.
06 · Process
Size, grade, quantity, delivery location and timeline.
Matching units with grade, age and location stated.
Condition verified against grade before you commit.
Price, delivery and condition in writing.
Transport to your site or port with handover documents.

A cargo-worthy (CW) container is used but structurally sound, fit for further ocean voyages and certified as such. Wind and water tight (WWT) units are sound for storage and local use but are not certified for sea transport. We state the grade clearly on every enquiry.
